Can't belive Ned Kellys sash is located here. It still has his blood on it from wounds sustained in the Glenrowan standoff.
Another one of Benalla's gemstones. The 7yo is a Ned Kelly fan. So seeing the Kelly Display and his green sash was a highlight for him. They also have wartime displays (honoring the likes of Weary Dunlop) and a huge model dolls house. Brilliant. Worth the trip.
Exhibits focus on Ned Kelly; a personal dress collection warn by a local eccentric; weary Dunlop and the war. Lots of excellent Tourist Info. Very helpful staff. Lovely building.
We have travelled from WA to see Ned Kelly and was not disappointed.. fantastic display and helpful guides. Very enjoyable time definitely recommend it. Next stop Glenrowan
